Thing 1-B

OK, here is what I wrote on my whiteboard. I have to tell you...my head is spinning! I need some hands on practice to really get this stuff, I do believe!
Wow...this is all a foreign language to me. I sure hope I catch on quicker than I am thinking! Whew! I guess I should stick to the photography and not so much of this technology end. I feel like a real dummy with all this knowledge now. I am probably making it much harder than it really is. I guess I am just such a hands on learner that the written stuff is overloading now.

  1. What is your whiteboard's password? We can't see or add to it without the password. Or...maybe...it's secret...you are testing our telepathy skills, arn't you?

  2. "I feel like a real dummy with all this knowledge now."

First of all, please don't feel that way. I will be the first to admit, that if you haven't really been exposed to or been using any of these tools, then this is incredibly overwhelming. When I first learned of the tools, it was like a daily avalanche as I found out about another and another and another...you get the idea. I finally had to put on the brakes and cool my heels a bit to get some perspective on which tools I truly needed to delve into, which is what this course will be designed to do.

You will get your hands on practice in this course in each of the "Things" that you do. Although you will be exposed to a variety of tools, by taking this course, you're going to get a structured "sampling" view of what is available, but I'm only going to focus on ones that I feel can be incorporated into the classroom or are great tools for personal productivity.

With that being said, keep an open mind! You're doing great so far.

Oh, and please provide us with your password so we can see your thoughts or feel free to paste your Writeboard content into a follow up post to this.
